20 circuits · 67 counties · 3 federal districts
Local counsel by county and judicial circuit.
Every Florida case sits in one of 20 judicial circuits and one of three federal districts, and the admission rules differ between them. These are the venues out-of-state firms land in most often — but I am available in every circuit.

Local counsel in Lee CountyNot on the list?
I appear in every Florida circuit. Travel outside Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade is quoted separately and identified in the engagement letter rather than buried in the rate — so on a far-north venue it is often cheaper to use me for filings and admission and cover the hearing another way. Send the county and I will tell you which. Send the matter.
Two questions decide everything
Is it state or federal?
Every Florida state case needs a Florida Bar member associated as attorney of record under Rule 2.510. Federal depends on the district: the Southern requires it, the Middle and Northern do not.
Which circuit and division?
The circuit sets the state-court practices; the federal division sets where hearings are held. Some circuits cover one county, some cover five — and a case can move between courthouses inside a single circuit.
Which county is your case in?
Send the county and the case number. Conflicts run first, and you get a quote in writing within one business day.
